The mission of the Friends of the Auburn Public Library is to support the library, its services and programs by advocating for community support and use of the library, by generating funding through donations, grants, and fund-raisers, and by developing volunteer involvement.


Friends of Auburn Public Library’s Blow-Out Book Sale

Beginning Thursday, September 7, 2017 through Monday, September 11, the Friends of Auburn Public Library are hosting their semi-annual Blow-Out Book Sale featuring hardbacks and paperbacks in fiction and non-fiction. The sale will have something for everyone including juvenile, young adult and adult titles with an excellent selection of bestsellers from popular authors such as James Patterson, David Baldacci, Nora Roberts, and Debbie Macomber.

The sale hours are: September 7 from 10 am-7 pm; September 8, 10 am-5 pm; September 9, 10 am-5 pm; and September 11, 10 am-5 pm. Hardbacks are $1.00, paperbacks .25 cents or 5 for $1.00, audiobooks $2.00 and DVDs $1.00. At these prices, you will want to grab a box and fill it full! This is a great opportunity to stock up on your fall reading. All proceeds directly benefit programs, events, and materials for Auburn Public Library.
